Privacy Policy

This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data and has been drawn up in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You are free to read it in its entirety. But in short I would like to indicate that the data I receive from you is well secured with me.

I am aware that you put your trust in me. I therefore see it as my responsibility to protect your privacy. In this statement I also indicate which data I process, for what reason and how this is secured. That way you understand exactly how I work.

This privacy policy applies to the services of Tessa goes global. By using the services of Tessa goes global you indicate that you accept the privacy policy.

Tessa goes global respects the privacy of its clients and that of the users of the website and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.

Use of collected personal data:

Why I keep your data
Your contact details (such as name, e-mail, address, telephone number and date of birth) are only for me. I use this information to keep in touch with you about the service you have purchased from me, Tessa de Bruijn from Tessa goes global. I only ask for your details after you have said yes to the question whether you want to work with me. If you do not want to continue with me after a first conversation, I will remove your data from my system.

Processing personal data
If you want to work with me, we enter into an agreement, for this agreement I ask for your personal data. This personal data is only to ensure that we can organize your dream trip together. If our cooperation ends, I will delete the personal data.

When you send an email or other messages to me, I save these messages. Sometimes we ask for personal information that is relevant to the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data will be stored but I will not combine this data with any other personal data I have.

Security
I am required by law to protect your data. I do that as well. I don't keep anything from you on the internet. Everything we discuss via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger stays there and is protected by privacy agreements to which we said yes as a user of those services. I have signed processing agreements with my email provider and website provider. Only I have access to my phone and laptop. These are protected with passwords. My websites are there to provide information and are a one-way street, from me to you. I therefore do not store any personal data on my website.

Not digital data
Sometimes I write down information. I do this as a reminder. When I put this information in a report then I destroy the written information.

So you can rest assured that I will not share any of your personal information with others without your permission. Unless there is an administrative or legal obligation or there is a court order.

Cookies
I collect data for research in order to gain a better understanding of our customers, so that we can tailor our services accordingly. The website uses “cookies” (small text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website can be transferred to Tessa goes global's own secure servers or those of a third hosting party. I use this information to keep track of how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.

Terms on which I keep data
I will not keep your data for longer than is logical or necessary. Of course I adhere to the legal and fiscal obligations, such as the obligation to the tax authorities to keep invoices for 7 years.

Your rights
I respect your privacy. You have the right to view, correct or delete your data at any time. You can always contact me about this.

At the bottom of every mailing for a newsletter you will find the option to adjust your data or to unsubscribe.
